Industrial Solutions Lab Awarded Bosch Community Fund Grant
The Industrial Solutions Lab has been awarded a grant from the Bosch Community Fund Board of Trustees to be used towards a Senior Design project. The two semester project, which will be designed and build by senior engineering students, is titled the Design and Development of a STEM Exhibit for the Natural History Section of the Discovery Place Museum. The design will begin in Spring 2020 and will be completed in December of the same year. Once completed, the project will be displayed as an exhibit in the Discovery Place Museum.
This is the third project the Bosch Community Fund has supported for UNC Charlotte College of Engineering students in the Senior Design Program since the spring of 2018. The other projects worked on STEM exhibits for the NC Transportation Museum and the Catawba Science Center. The Industrial Solutions Lab and Senior Design Program are thankful for the generous support they provide for engineering students at the University.
For more information on the project, we invite you to attend the Senior Design Expo on May 1, 2020 to meet the students who will design the exhibit.
