2016 Spring Expo
The Spring 2016 Expo was held on May 5 on the arena floor in the Student Activity Center. More than 420 students participated. There were 63 completed projects that were showcased. In addition 27 posters were displayed for projects that will be completed in May 2016. Participation in the Senior Design Program continues to grow. At the Fall Expo 35 industry supporters were involved in projects. There were over 75 faculty and industry mentors.
At the Spring 2016 Expo 9 of the completed projects were picked as finalists for Best Project. These projects were determined from a combination of graded submissions throughout both semesters of the project, and recommendations from faculty, faculty mentors, and industry supporters. The team members were notified on the day of the Expo. During the Expo these projects were scored by 12 independent judges to determine the best project. The top three projects were recognized at the Expo.

The top three projects for the Spring 2016 Expo were:
